BioConstruct builds biogas plants in Estonia
KMG Inseneriehituse AS, an engineering company located in Estonia, Tallinn, which was founded in 2007, has placed the order for two biogas plants. The German supplier of biogas plants BioConstruct won the tender for these projects in Estonia, both of around 1.2 MW electrical capacity. The projects are fully permitted and ready to start construction.
Indrek Pappel, Managing Director of KMG Inseneriehituse AS: “We are happy to have contracted BioConstruct. Especially BioConstruct´s core competency of building plants which are able to process and be fed with rather difficult input material made us choose them as technology provider for the projects.”
Both biogas plants, situated in the municipalities Vinni and Oisu, will be operated with solid and liquid manure to produce electrical energy which then will be fed to the national grid. In the case of Vinni biogas plant an external CHP will supply the adjoining buildings with heat.
BioConstruct realized more than 150 turnkey projects in various European countries. With its projects in Estonia the company has made a further step on its way to enter the promising and fast-developing Eastern European markets.
