EUROSOLAR announces European Solar Prize 2013 – Recognition of outstanding commitment to renewable energy now in its twentieth year

Bonn - EUROSOLAR, in collaboration with KfW-Bankengruppe, recognizes important and innovative achievements in promoting widespread use of renewable energy through the annual European Solar Prize, now in its twentieth year. The Solar Prize is one of the oldest and most prestigious renewable energy awards. Applications and proposals are accepted until 30 June 2013. The recipients will be celebrated at a festive gathering at the end of the year.

Established in 1994, the European Solar Prize has since been given to towns and municipalities, community businesses, societies or organizations, architects, journalists and individuals whose projects have contributed in significant and outstanding ways to the use and expansion of renewable energy. To cover the broad effects and the multifaceted uses of renewable energy, the call for entries is launched in the following categories:- Towns/municipalities, council districts, public utilities- Architecture, construction and urban planning- Industrial and commercial companies or farmers- Local or regional associations/organizations- Transport and mobility- Media- Education and vocational training- One world cooperation- Special achievement prize for individual commitment

Submitted to the judges will be both, the applications received at EUROSOLAR directly and the proposals forwarded and selected by the sections from submissions rewarded at the national levels. The winners of the European Solar Prize will be chosen from all applications.

Energy Taiwan is the largest and most professional renewable energy trading platform in Taiwan

Energy Taiwan is jointly organized by the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) and SEMI. The event will take place from October 16-18, 2019 at the Nangang Exhibition Center Hall 1. This marks the beginning of a new era for around 1,200 exhibitors and an expected 50,000 visitors in eight halls totaling 86,000 sqm. The smarter E Europe is a reaction to the increasing interconnection of the generation, storage, intelligent distribution and use of renewable energies. The focus of this new event is on the key issues of sector coupling, digitalization and decentralization. Manufacturers, suppliers, distributors, service providers and partners of the energy industry will be at Messe München until June 22, 2018.
