Abener built the plant on behalf of ONE (National Office of Electricity) at Ain Beni Mathar, in the north-east of Morocco and will be responsible for its operation and maintenance.
The Integrated Solar Combined Cycle (ISCC) plant combines solar energy and conventional power generation. The solar field of parabolic trough collectors has a reflective surface of more than 180,000 m2 and an electrical capacity of 22 MW. The hybrid power station also has a steam turbine and two gas turbines with a capacity of 150 MW each.
