Gamesa agrees supply of 230 MW in India

Chennai / Zamudio - Gamesa, a global technology leader in wind energy, has reinforced its presence in India, having signed two agreements for the supply of a total of 230 MW: 130 MW to China Light & Power India (CLP India) and 100 MW to Greenko Wind Project.

Morocco gets 300 MW wind farm

Construction has started on a 300 MW wind farm in Morocco which will be one of the largest in Africa. The project developer of the Tarfaya wind farm is a consortium of Nareva Holding and GDF SUEZ. Mott MacDonald is providing technical advice to lenders during construction and operational phases.

Alstom will supply 34 wind turbines to its first wind power project in Mexico

Alstom has been awarded a contract with ENEL Green Power Mexico for the supply and commissioning of 34 wind turbines at the new Sureste I–Stage II power generation plant in the Tehuantepec Isthmus, Oaxaca, Mexico.

The project, awarded to ENEL by the Federal Electricity Commission under the “external energy producer” scheme, is the first wind power project in Mexico for Alstom.
