Search tips
Don’t choose too generalised keywords. Entries such as »solar« or »wind energy« will bring up too many imprecise results. It is better to search for expressions such as »thin film« or »thermosiphon«. Searches for company names or countries also get good results.
Capitals or small caps in searches make no difference.
Please take special characters and symbols into consideration, such as accents, hyphens and so on. If necessary, please try out different spelling forms.
If you are not certain how a term or name is written, or if there are several ways of spelling something, you may also look for a characterising part of the word: for »offgrid« or »off-grid«, for example, a search for »grid« will bring up results for both versions.
The full text search looks through the whole text of the article.
A full text search for »Photovoltaics Spain« will find all articles in which the words »Photovoltaics« or »Spain« appear.
»+Photovoltaics +Spain« finds all articles which contain the words »Photovoltaics« and »Spain«.
»Photovoltaics –Spain« finds all articles which contain the word »Photovoltaics« but not the word »Spain«.
