2BG signed 15 MW contract for a module line in Algeria

04.03.2010: The Italian company 2BG s.r.l. and SOPREC Solar announced the completion of a contract for the supply of a 15 MW module production line.

The turnkey plant will be delivered and installed in a new Algerian facility at the beginning of May 2010. According to a press release 2BG was chosen after an analysis of several competitors by SOPREC Group. As 2BG informs, the investment plan anticipates doing the line upgrade of further 30 MW by the end of 2010, reaching 45 MW in total as production capacity at full speed. With this investment SOPREC Solar intends to become a leading PV company in Algeria.
