Gamesa sells four wind farms in France and Germany

Gamesa has signed an agreement with the German real capital asset manager KGAL GmbH & Co. KG for the sale of three wind farms in France and one in Germany, with a total installed capacity of 56 MW. KGAL integrates the wind farms in its renewable energy fund for institutional investors, European Sustainable Power Fund 2.

SCADA International receives GL RC certificate for power plant controller

Husum - GL Renewables Certification (GL RC) has issued a component certificate to SCADA International for its power plant controller. The GL RC certificate confirms that the power plant controller meets the requirements of the FGW (Federation of German Windpower and other Renewable Energies).

Fuhrländer is insolvent

Fuhrländer AG, based in Liebenscheid, Germany, filed for insolvency at Montabaur District Court on September 20th. "Postponements of projects by customers" had led to "unpredictable delays in project payments", which could not be compensated for by Fuhrländer AG, says a company press release.

Modular Wind Energy Receives ISO 9001:2008 Certification

Huntington - Modular Wind Energy (, a manufacturer of innovative rotor blades for large-size wind turbines, has achieved certification from Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance (LRQA) as an ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management Systems compliant organization for the design, manufacture, installation, and service of wind turbine blades.

Gamesa to supply 49.3 MW to Guangdong Nuclear Group in China

Beijing - Gamesa, a global technology leader in wind energy, has signed a deal to supply 49.3 MW of capacity (58 of its 850 kW wind turbines) to China Guangdong Nuclear Wind Energy Limited for the wind farm located in Shandong Province, in China.

The wind farm is under built and is targeted to connect with the grid at the end of this year.

Good Energy acquires consented onshore wind farm site

Milan - Prysmian Group, world leader in the energy and telecom cable systems industry, has been awarded a new contract worth in excess of 50 million euro by TenneT, operator of transmission systems in Germany and the Netherlands, for the connection of the Offshore Wind Park (OWP) Deutsche Bucht, located in the North Sea to the mainland grid.
