Alstom has completed the performance measurement of its 6 MW offshore wind turbine Haliade 150 at Le Carnet in France.  The facility was certified after three months of measurements in accordance with IEC (power curve).

Osiris Wind Energy from Shanghai claims to have built "the largest small wind turbine park in the world" in Tar Chalome, a wetland south of Bangkok with poor wind conditions. The installation, which resembles a forest, consists of a total of 350 turbines, each with a capacity of 1.6 KW.
