On January 3 BP Wind Energy and Sempra US Gas & Power have announced that the Flat Ridge 2 Wind Farm located in Kansas, USA, has moved into full commercial operation.

Gamesa advances offshore project


Gamesa transported the first rotor blade for the prototype of its offshore wind turbine from Aoiz factory (Navarre) to the port of Bilbao. The 62.5 m long blade is designed for the 5 MW wind turbine which Gamesa will build at Arinaga quay on Gran Canary.

New nacelle-mounted Lidar power curve measurement procedure developed and demonstrated after 3 years project
